Why a more sustainable block bottom bag?

Woven bags have always contributed to resource efficiency and occupational safety due to their excellent product protection as well as to sustainability due to single polymer family recyclability. And the trend continues: bag producers who can offer a more sustainable solution using recyclates are gaining a market advantage. The challenge for bag producers while improving on sustainability: functionality must be secured, and cost must remain competitive. W&H has therefore developed and tested a new bag concept that maximizes the use of rPP. The result: LSr bags, holding 50kg of cement, with rPP share of 24% weighing 66g only.
