With version 1.14 RUBY Check supports RGB-LAB-CHECK. You can analyze all inspection results from RGB-LAB-CHECK, our inline color measurement based on RGB data.

We also introduce new features of Data Archiving and Connect 4 Flow.

  • Visualization of RGB-LAB-CHECK Data

Your Advantages

RUBY Check allows you to take all the Data from RGB-LAB Check into account for your quality assesement. You can see in which jobs RGB-LAB-CHECK, our inline color measurement based on RGB data, was used.

You can see following informations from RGB-LAB-CHECK:

  • System activity and inspection settings
  • All Inspection results
  • Trend visualisations
  • System status on the PDF-Reports

V1.14 - Data Archive

(1/1) New Feature

  • Process data can be stored in the RUBY Data Archive in the RUBY Cloud

Notes: Needs to be activated in the Admin area. Quality data from/for RUBY Check is not archived.

Your Advantages

  • The Data Archive allows storing all historical process data without the risk of loosing data (for example because the hard drive is running out of space)
  • Historical data can be restored in the local RUBY system for further analysis

V1.14 - Connect 4 Flow

(1/1) New Feature

  • We can activate a new interface called Connect 4 Flow

Notes: To activate that interface please contact your local W&H service sales agent. Please also check for the API documentation in the Admin area.

Your Advantages

  • Connect 4 Flow allows sending job data as well as detailed machine parameter settings from the office to the printing press or to the extrusion line
  • Establish a new workflow where the know-how is managed centrally in the ERP/MES system

With version 1.13 RUBY Go and RUBY Gain support new parameter types in trending.

In RUBY Gain product recognition settings can now be modified after completion of the setup process and new products or new geometries get parameter limits more easily.

  • RUBY Go & Gain:
    String and boolean type parameters can be shown in trending
  • RUBY Gain:
    Product recognition settings like replacement resins can be modified after setup process has been completed
  • RUBY Gain:
    New products or new geometries of known products get parameter limits more easily

  • RUBY Go & Gain:
    Values on flag not shown in scientific notation any more
  • RUBY Go & Gain:
    Returning to live mode has been fixed

Version 1.12 contains a whole new feature: The RUBY App.

It also contains improvements for the time navigation in RUBY Go and RUBY Gain, new filtering options for RUBY Check and some bug fixes.

V1.11 (MAY 2022)

Version 1.11 contains new features for RUBY Go and some bug fixes.

Your advantages

  • Products are no longer recognized based on individual recipe names alone, but based on the material mix.
  • Similar products are clustered.

  • For optimal use, you will be guided through the
    necessary settings at the beginning (e.g. configuration
    of product recognition, setting of parameter limits).

  • The parameter limits (e.g. temperature in the extruder)
    can be calculated and overwritten in a more
    structured and clear manner.

RUBY Check

New Features

(1/1) Export the visualized results into a downloadable PDF. The level of detail can be adjusted individually.

Your advantages

  • The shown job/roll can be exported as a PDF to create a comprehensive report.
  • The PDF can be used for internal and external exchange without access to RUBY or for paper-based workflows.
  • In addition to storage on local drives, the PDF can be used for import into other quality management systems.
