Stand Alone Extruder

Do you have an outdated or undersized extruder generation that is limited in its melting capacity?
The VAREX´´ stand-alone extruder will provide the middle layer of your existing 3-layer co-extrusion line with the necessary melting capacity to meet the demands of today’s extreme layer ratio. Or replace your outdated mono-layer extruder and benefit with this retrofit.

Choose your screw type to meet your output requirements and optimize your mechanical and optical quality level.
Benefit from retrofitting a new independent VAREX´´ extruder with its own operating concept by W&H that includes all temperature control elements. The unit is prepared to operate with different input signals (0-10V or 4-20mA etc.) and can be easily integrated into your existing extrusion line.

ARCTIS Air Ring

Boost your output and improve your film quality by retrofitting W&H dies or ARCTIS air rings. A new gauge profile controller is available as an additional option.

EASY2 Change

The EASY2 Change assistance system supports the operator during every necessary step of a product changeover. Thanks to an intuitive HMI, the operator maintains full transparency and control throughout the changeover. Innovative technology detects the bubble shape and frostline, ensuring reproducible high film quality.

MDO Technology

MDO (Machine Direction Orientation) from W&H can be retrofitted to both cast and blown film lines. The process improves barrier properties and gives mono- and coextruded films improved strength and stiffness, better shrink properties and more gloss and transparency.
