Mr. Elting, please introduce yourself and your region
I have been responsible for W&H's sales activities in Eastern Europe since July 2006. At the time, my focus was on the CIS, a market area in which W&H has been active since the 1950s. In 2008, we converted what was then a representative office in Moscow into a Russian subsidiary, thus also putting the focus on local service in the region.In addition to the countries of Southeastern Europe, I am also responsible for the markets in Turkey, Greece and Iran. My area of responsibility now covers 33 countries, 11 time zones and almost 25 million sqm. It includes subsidiaries in Istanbul, Moscow, Vienna and a representative office in Kiev, Ukraine. Today, 75 service and sales people work in this exciting and challenging region.

Mr. van Hoorn, please introduce yourself and your region
I started my career at W&H in 2006 as Regional Manager Technical Sales Extrusion. For 10 years I accompanied customers in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Benelux but also countries outside Europe, like India or Pakistan in all technical details during their decision process for their extrusion machines. In 2016 my responsibilities changed from Technical Sales to Sales. As a Dutchman living in Germany, it was only natural for me to take on the position of Managing Director for W&H Benelux. As a European at heart, and with my current position as General Manager Sales and Service for Europe West, I'm happy to be able to tie in with my beginnings and unite all southern and northern countries under one roof. With our sales and service team, the offices in the Benelux, Italy and Poland, as well as the long-standing relationships with our representations we are there for our customers, every day.
