Positive response for online training series packaging printing

In February, the W&H Academy launched its first online training series on packaging printing. In cooperation with Stefan Beilenhoff from print.con-Beilenhoff Consulting, the Academy gave participants an in-depth look at the processes, technologies and possibilities of modern packaging printing. The focus was on gravure packaging printing in particular, as requirements in this area are increasing due to shorter jobs and growing cost pressure. At the same time, gravure packaging printing is more modern and better than ever before.

During six 90-minute online courses, participants were provided with comprehensive machine and application knowledge. The technical lectures were supplemented by virtual machine tours and practical video presentations from the modern W&H Technology Center. After each seminar, participants had the opportunity to ask the speaker Stefan Beilenhoff and gravure expert Gerd Igel (W&H Academy) in-depth questions about the content presented and challenges from everyday production.
With over 60 participants, mainly from Asia, the first English-language online training series on packaging printing was a complete success. One thing is already clear today: due to the positive response, the training series will be repeated in the fall of 2021.
