Anna Bielak-Dworska

Co-author of the "Academy of Social Leaders", initiator of the "ReviLAB" regeneration laboratory and the international program for social innovators "Co-design Your Place". "She is the author and program leader of the international service design conference and sprint "Co-design your P(a)lace". Mentor of The Industry Mentoring Program at London College of Communication, WUD Silesia and Secor 3.0.As a next-generation family entrepreneur, she is particularly interested in family business strategy, regenerative design and services and how they can work together to create a more sustainable future.

Dr. Anna Kozera-Szałkowska

Managing Director of Plastic Europe Poland Foundation. Almost since the organization's inception, she has actively participated in the creation of the Polish branch, the implementation of key projects in Poland and activities at the European level through close cooperation with the headquarters in Brussels and European regional offices. She has extensive experience in conducting image, educational and promotional campaigns related to plastics and the plastics industry. She has gained professional experience as a journalist and editor in the trade press, as well as a technical-legislative manager in the FMCG industry association, among others. A chemist by education, she holds a doctorate in technical sciences (polymer technology), which she earned at the Faculty of Chemistry of Warsaw University of Technology. She also completed Postgraduate Studies in Social Communication and Media organized by the Foundation for the Popularization of Science and the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Monika Michalska

Expert in waste treatment technology. After hours, she showcases the waste industry in social media as a waste lady. She graduated from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, majoring in Environmental Engineering with a specialization in RES. She also completed postgraduate studies in quality management at the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business and the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology. In the waste industry for 10 years, she started in the Department of Waste Management. Currently associated with Waste to Energy projects.

Peter Ragaert

Peter Ragaert obtained in 2001 the degree of bioscience engineer chemistry at Ghent University, Belgium. After his PhD in 2005 on shelf-life and packaging of fruits and vegetables, Peter stayed in the packaging field as project manager in the organization Pack4Food. Currently, Peter is leading, together with An Vermeulen, this organization which is a collaboration platform between the food and packaging industry, research institutes and other stakeholders in food packaging.

Marcin Popkiewicz

Analyst of mega-trends, expert and journalist dealing with connections in the areas of economy-energy-resources-environment. Author of the bestsellers "World at the Crossroads," "Energy Revolution. But Why?", "Climate Science" and "Understanding the Energy Transition". Founder and editor of the portals naukaoklimacie.pl and ziemianarozdrozu.pl. Winner of the main award "Journalists for Climate 2015", "Economicus 2016" for the best book spreading economic knowledge, and "Promoter of Renewable Energy 2016". Together with the editorial team of Science for Climate, he is the winner of the "Popularizer of Science 2017" award given by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and PAP. "Leader of education on sustainable development" by Forbes magazine in 2022. Chairman of the Monitoring Committee of European Green Deal projects at the National Center for Research and Development.

Jakub Fulara

Jakub Fulara is an expert with many years of experience in the field of European funds and public programmes. Since 2005 he has been working in banking dealing with dedicated support for companies from EU funds. He has experience in the implementation of subsidy programmes for companies, BGK programmes such as e.g. technology credit, Biznesmax and FENG guarantees and European programmes in cooperation with the European Investment Fund and the European Investment Bank. At Bank Pekao, he heads the unit responsible for the implementation of preferential products for companies using public funds.

Prof. An Vermeulen

Professor at University Hasselt and Ghent University & director PACK4FOOD. An earned a degree in bioscience engineering from Ghent University in Belgium in 2002, She defended her PhD dissertation in 2008 on the microbial safety and stability of mayonnaise based deli-salads. After her PhD she got the opportunity to join the Pack4Food team, which she now heads with Peter Ragaert. The organization provides a platform for cooperation between the food and packaging industry, research institutes and other stakeholders in food packaging. By conducting joint research projects, training and networking activities, Pack4Food stimulates innovation in food packaging, with a particular focus on packaging materials in the circular economy. Pack4Food is also leading the EU S3 Partnership on Food Packaging. In addition, An Vermeulen is professor at University Hasselt and University of Ghent, where she teaches food preservation techniques and packaging safety. She heads as well the service lab at Ghent University which performs smaller research projects on microbial food spoilage and safety with industrial partners..

Katarzyna Grabarska

Packaging Manager, Biedronka retail chain (Jeronimo Martins). Passionate of packaging eco-design and ESG strategy. From the beginning of professional career related to packaging industry, working for several companies from FMCG industry. Currently responsible for retail packaging analysis in view of materials used dedicated for private label products at Biedronka. She is conducting sustainable packaging projects in relations to their recyclability.

Robert Przybylski

A graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań with over 25 years of business experience in the B2B market. Technical insulation, geosynthetics and pre-insulated pipes for the heating industry are just a few of the industries in which he has gained experience. Since 2011 he has been involved in plastics distribution, managing Plastoplan Polska, a company embedded in the international structure of the Hromatka Group. The company represents the leading plastics manufacturers on the Polish market, which are the market leaders. At the same time, Mr. Robert serves as Account Manager and takes care of relations with customers, mainly film manufacturers, providing optimal plastic solutions.

Piotr Kwiecień

Graduate of Chemical Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology and MBA at Kozminski University. For 20 years he has headed SABIC Poland Sp. z o.o., building its position both in Poland and the rest of Central Europe. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Plastics Europe Poland Foundation.

Sebastian Hünnefeld

Sebastian Hünnefeld studied management and engineering at the University of Bremen, Germany, and first connected with Windmöller & Hölscher as a student while writing his thesis.

He began his career working for the media giant Bertelsmann, where he spent two years before joining the extrusion engineering department at W&H headquarters in Germany. His involvement in several successful blown film projects in North America created the opportunity for him to join the W&H U.S.-based sales force in April 2014, where he was responsible for sales for the blown film product line.

After he and his family returned to Germany in late 2020, he is now Sales Director for W&H in Europe North.

Karolina Olejniczak

Successor, who has been building a close-knit and committed PDO team for more than 10 years with great passion and success. In addition to creating and consistently implementing the company's strategy and fulfilling its mission: to be a pioneer in the production of technologically advanced environmentally friendly packaging, she devotes a lot of attention and energy to building the organizational culture of the family business. Creative and flexible in her daily work with the team, empathetic in relationships and effective in business conversations. In the past, she was associated with the large pharmaceutical company GSK. She completed her studies in the United States and graduated with an MBA from Oxford Brokers University and the IBR Successor Academy in Poznań. Mother of three energetic, cheerful, creative children: Franek, Zosia and Janek.

Marcin Kraus

CEO of KRAUS FOLIE has been working for the family company KRAUS FOLIE since 2001. Since its beginning, he has been responsible for the areas of strategic customer acquisition, technology and management of the production process and investments in machinery as well as building quality systems and its control. Also directly responsible for directing the company and product development strategy. For more than eight years, he has been responsible for managing the entire company but is still actively involved in technological areas.

He specializes in film extrusion processes and film solutions designed for the circular economy.

Marcin Tokłowicz

Regional Director of Windmöller & Hölscher Poland. Graduate of Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Technology and Trade from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Lodz. He has extensive experience in implementing sales strategies and building and managing relationships with key customers. For more than 10 years he has successfully represented Windmöller & Hölscher in Poland. He is a Project Manager and actively sells blow and cast film extrusion machines, flexographic printers, rotogravure and converting machines in the Western Poland region.
