Basics for flexo printing

The training provides comprehensive knowledge of the basics of flexographic printing and the properties of the process technology. The participants receive an overview of the structure and operating principle of a flexographic printing press and learn about the technical processes on the individual machine modules. In addition to selecting the right consumables, we also address the typical tools for managing the printing process. Participants will also receive an introduction to machine operation, including the processes for production startup and job changeover. In addition, participants will receive an introduction to press operation and learn tips on how to correct typical printing errors and improve production and quality.

In detail, we address the following topics:

• Basics of flexographic printing: repro, printing plates, sleeves, plate mounting,tapes, anilox rollers, colors and quality
• Structure and operating principle of a flexo printing press and its individual modules
