Plastixx Extrusion adds 3-layer VAREX II

Plastixx Extrusion Technologies, a member of the Nelmar Group of Companies, has placed an order for their 4th blown film extrusion line – a 71” 3-layer VAREX II.

The new machine will boost the company’s capacity by 10 million pounds annually and produce film for the Nelmar Group’s security packaging and FFS bag businesses. The new line will be paired with a 71” FILMATIC S II winder and incorporates RUBY, the new IoT system from W&H.
