New Employees and Job Roles at W&H North America

We're delighted to share that SIX of our exceptionally talented employees have taken on new and exciting roles within the organization, and we're equally excited to extend a warm welcome to TWO new additions to our dynamic team.

Amarish Pandey, Spare Parts Manager

Amarish Pandey, with three years of experience as the head of IDC in Rhode Island and 13 years at W&H, has graciously accepted the role of Spare Parts Manager. We are thrilled to have him in this position, as his extensive background and analytical strengths will prove invaluable in identifying trends and areas for optimization, ensuring continuous improvement of our customer service.

Amritesh Jaiswal, Manager of IDC

Stepping into the position of Manager of IDC is Amritesh Jaiswal, who has been a dedicated member of the W&H team for 20 years. Amritesh not only possesses exceptional technical expertise but also exudes a calm and reassuring demeanor that the company deeply admires and respects. This summer, we will be welcoming two new technicians from within the W&H Group to join our Rhode Island IDC team. Their addition will further enhance our capabilities and strengthen our commitment to providing top-notch service.

Catherine Mattson, Marketing Communications & Sustainability Manager

We are pleased to announce that Catherine has added a new role of Sustainability Manager to her current Marketing Communications position. The W&H group has made a commitment to reducing it’s carbon footprint andis addressing how to become more sustainable across the board. Catherine has been with W&H for 14 years and has a Masters in International Marketing from University of Strathclyde.

Ken Register, Regional Sales Manager - Southern U.S. & Texas South

Ken joined W&H in January as Regional Sales Manager of the Southern U.S.. He has over 25 years of experience, including as Sales and Marketing Director at Mitsubishi Films and in procurement and R&D at Anheuser-Busch. He started his career as a press operator before becoming a development specialist at Cryovac (now Sealed Air), and has a degree in Business Management from Southern Wesleyan University.

Kasie Fairbarn, Vice President of Sales

As Vice President of Sales, Kasie will oversee all sales functions for the film extrusion and printing businesses. She joined W&H in 2021 as Product Sales Manager for extrusion and rapidly earned the respect of colleagues and customers. Prior to joining W&H, Kasie worked as Global Account and Sustainability Manager at Paxxus and as a Senior Packaging Engineer at Unilever. She holds a degree in Packaging Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where she also captained the women’s ice hockey team. Kasie was recognized by Plastics News magazine in 2021 in their Women Breaking the Mold coverage and was recently selected by peers as Co-Chairperson of the Emerging Leadership Council (ELC) of the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA).

Mark Kessi, Field Service Technician

Mark Kessi joined W&H as a Field Service Technician in November 2021 with 20 years of electrical experience. Prior to W&H, he was the electrical supervisor at the largest ski resort in the United States responsible for 48 ski lifts across 8000+ acres. Before his time in the ski industry, he worked for a small custom powder blending manufacturer on the east coast overseeing their operations. Mark was born in Switzerland and moved to the U.S.when he was 6 years old and currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT.

Ramil Galimullin, Field Service Technician

Ramil has been a field service technician with W&H since 2015. Originally from Russia, he moved to the U.S. with his family to join our North American team in December 2022. He specializes in presses but also has experience working on extrusion and converting machinery. Ramil holds a Master’s in Radio Physics and Electronics from Kazan State University. When he’s not on the job, Ramil enjoys adrenaline-fueled activities like XC paragliding and has even won competitions!

Vladimir Utovac, Vice President of Service

Vladimir's new position as Vice President of Service takes him back to the department where he started his career with W&H in 2010 as a Service Manager responsible for the installation of printing presses in North America. In 2018, Utovac became Product Sales Manager for Printing and his deep knowledge and understanding of printing industry became evident. In his new role, Vladimir will be responsible for the North American service operation, including the Information & Diagnostic Center (IDC), regional service management, the large local spare parts operation, and all U.S.-based service technicians. In addition, Utovac will oversee sales for W&H’s converting business. Vladimir earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. Anselm’s College, where he played for the men’s soccer team, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College. Recently, he also became a member of the FPA’s ELC.
