New Production Record at Packages Limited with HELIOSTAR II

Packages Limited in Pakistan has set a new company production record on its W&H HELIOSTAR II gravure press, producing 739,910 meters within 24 hours without any downtime. That equates to an average of 515 m/min. The result surpasses the company's previous record of around 715,600 meters and represents a significant operational milestone.

The preparations began well before the actual run. Machine inspections, preventive maintenance activities, material readiness checks, cylinder preparation, ink setup, and close coordination between Production, Engineering, and Quality teams all played a key role in creating the conditions for success.

Maintaining stable production for an entire day presented its own challenges. Consistent print quality, precise register control, stable web tension, effective drying performance, and uninterrupted material supply all had to be managed flawlessly over the full 24-hour period.
