Basics for blown film extrusion

The online training provides comprehensive knowledge of the process engineering basics of blown film extrusion. Participants are given an overview of the structure and technical features of a blown film extrusion line and learn about the functions and technical processes on the individual machine modules.

The basic training consists of two parts in which we address the following topics:

• Raw materials production: From oil to granules
• Different applications and products: Food packaging films, films for industrial applications, special films for the hygiene and pharmaceutical industries
• Structure and operating principle of a blown film extrusion line in material flow direction
  • From the vacuum conveying system to the extruders
  • From the die head to the haul-off
  • From the haul-off to the winder

Training duration: 3 days, 3 to 4 hours each day
