COREMATIC - fully automated small roll handling system
COREMATIC is W&Hs fully automated handling system for small printed rolls. The system is capable of roll changes every 3 minutes while running at maximum press speed. It is designed for 3 and 6 inch winding shafts.
The fully automated process includes:
- Removal of rolls from the rewind
- Extraction of shafts from the rolls
- Positioning and glueing of new cores on the shafts
- Loading of prepared shafts into the machine during production
