In 2022, the company chose the OPTIMEX” blown film line from Windmöller & Hölscher for the first time, equipped with the EASY2 Change assistance system, aiming to increase production efficiency during product changes and reduce start-up waste.
Before the investment, product and recipe changes frequently resulted in considerable changeover time and start-up waste. The error-prone and manual processes not only impacted quality but also put considerable pressure on the operating staff. - Changeover times were reduced by approximately 40%, while start-up waste decreased by several kilos.
