V1.17 (September 2025)

RUBY is continuously evolving - and you benefit automatically from the latest improvements! This page provides an overview of the latest version.

In the new frontend, additional pages are now available within the machine cards: Trending, Production Data and Alarms offer deeper insights at a glance.

You’ll also notice a completely revamped TRACK module, along with several new features in CHECK - designed to make your workflows even more efficient.

RUBY GO 1.17 brings a brand-new user interface along with powerful tools for process optimization.

You can now visualize the MDO profile thickness and monitor width & throughput against tolerance bands in real time.

V1.17 (September 2025)

RUBY Check 1.17 gives you more flexibility and control in evaluating your roll quality and waste.

You can now mark entire rolls or custom sections as waste, good production, or unrated - and use a reference heatmap to pinpoint defect hotspots.

A modal to mark any roll as 'Waste', 'Good', or 'No Overall Rating'. This modal will be available only in the RollView.

RUBY Track 1.17 takes job insights to the next level with a powerful new job detail view - giving you full visibility into production time, speed and scrap.

Quickly spot inefficiencies and uncover optimization potential with clear visualizations and performance comparisons.

Plus, you can now compare the same product across multiple machines to identify your best-performing setups and standardize success

  • The page compares actual speed, setup time, downtime and scrap directly against targets. This enables quick identification of deviations and drives focused performance improvements.

V1.16 (FEBRUARY 2025)

With version 1.16, RUBY users will gain significant advantages from machine snapshot data, enhancing Quick Rollback & System Stability, Disaster Recovery, Safe Software Updates, and Security & Compliance.

Additionally, 1.16 includes essential updates and fixes for RUBY 2.0, RUBY Go, Track, and the Public API.

  • RUBY: Wrong scrap counts
  • RUBY 2.0: 8 hour speed trend was not updated on historic snapshot changes
  • Trending: Counter data like roll length or material consumption are now shown correctly in the trending
  • RUBY Track: Splitting job into new job also updates old job
  • RUBY Track: Show maximum 50 alarms on downtimes
  • RUBY Track: Persist admin settings on each job
  • Public API / Connect 4 Flow: Wrong return codes when machine has no license
  • Public API / Connect 4 Flow: Department filter not implemented on count production requests endpoint

V1.15 (SEPTEMBER 2024)

With version 1.15 RUBY will link the glimpse of the new fronted (Beta Version) with completely new machine overview page.

We also have new features in Track, Check and Connect 4 Flow.

V1.14 (JULY 2023)

With version 1.14 RUBY Check supports RGB-LAB-CHECK. You can analyze all inspection results from RGB-LAB-CHECK, our inline color measurement based on RGB data.

We also introduce the new features of Data Archiving and Connect 4 Flow

V1.13 (JANUARY 2023)

With version 1.13 RUBY Go and RUBY Gain support new parameter types in trending.

In RUBY Gain product recognition settings can now be modified after completion of the setup process and new products or new geometries get parameter limits more easily.

    String and boolean type parameters can be shown in trending
  • RUBY Gain:
    Product recognition settings like replacement resins can be modified after setup process has been completed

V1.12 (SEPTEMBER 2022)

Version 1.12 contains a whole new feature: The RUBY App.

It also contains improvements for the time navigation in RUBY Go and RUBY Gain, new filtering options for RUBY Check and some bug fixes.

Your advantages

  • Products are no longer recognized based on individual recipe names alone, but based on the material mix.
  • Similar products are clustered.

  • For optimal use, you will be guided through the
    necessary settings at the beginning (e.g. configuration
    of product recognition, setting of parameter limits).

  • The parameter limits (e.g. temperature in the extruder)
    can be calculated and overwritten in a more
    structured and clear manner.

(1/1) Export the visualized results into a downloadable PDF. The level of detail can be adjusted individually.

Your advantages

  • The shown job/roll can be exported as a PDF to create a comprehensive report.
  • The PDF can be used for internal and external exchange without access to RUBY or for paper-based workflows.
  • In addition to storage on local drives, the PDF can be used for import into other quality management systems.
